Regular pads are for women who have moderate blood flow. They are adequate for most women during the majority of their cycle, even night time.
They are around 10" long (25cm). They are made from cotton flannel with two layers of bamboo or hemp fleece sewn in, and have a waterproof PUL layer. They have wings and snaps.
The regular pads have the flip-out design, where the absorbent inner core can be flipped out for more thorough washing and faster drying. This also allows the stain-removing powers of the sun to help naturally bleach the fleece.
10" long (25cm). They are 3" wide (8cm) when closed. And they are 7.25" wide (18.5cm) when open.
Scarlet Eve's Flip-Out Absorbent Core:
Bamboo and hemp are very absorbent. They both take longer to dry than cotton, for example, and in waterproof pads there is even less airflow available for drying. PUL is breathable, but Scarlet Eve found that when the bamboo or hemp was sewn in to these thicker pads that they would not wash thoroughly and would take a long time to dry. They would also hold onto odours – probably due to both of those issues.
This is why they have developed the Flip-Out design for the larger pads (Regular, Uber and Uber Long). The pads are still all-in-one, but they are also pockets.
