I am new to menstrual cups after a few days of getting used to this cup, I can get it in the correct position 90% of the time on the first go. I have the size B due to my heavy flow, but it is still on the short side, so perfect for a low lying cervix.
The cup is super soft at the bottom, but is a little more rigid at the top to aid it popping open, although still really soft. I had previously used a meluna classic medium for half of my last cycle period (which slipped down and leaked regularly), but I felt it restricted my peeing, with the organicup I have not had this issue, which I would think is due to how soft it is.
I have had no leaking with this cup other than once on my super heavy day which only occurred after 5 hours in the day time (normally I would need to use 2 night time diposable sanitary pads in this time).
My periods are lengthy at 8-9 days and I'm now on day 9, with no soreness or pain in my vagina, due its continual use. I even left the full stem on for 5 of those days and even though I could occasionally feel it, it was soft and flexible. I have now trimmed it off due to me gaining confidence in its use.
Positives for this cup is that it has a large capacity for a cup that is shorter in length than most other cups and it is very soft, with a slightly firmer rim to aid popping open. Now that I have used it, I can't see any negatives for anybody that requires a softer cup, shorter length and high volume.Reviewer: Alisa from NY, US
Quick disclaimer: I won this cup from a FeminineWear raffle.
About me: I require a soft and shorter sized cup or I will be in pain. My other soft cups are the Fleurcups, large Si-bell and Sckoon (which after I was able to clear all the holes in the hopes of making it work better, had too much suction). The Sckoon only really worked while I was upright and the Si-bell when I was lying down. The large fleur was too firm for me.
This cup: This has been the best soft cup I have tried. It hardly ever leaks (as long as I empty it every six hours or once I get up after sleeping through the night on my two heavy days. (Protip: Keep your torso horizontal to the ground) and as long as I avoid certain positions - lying on my back with my knees up and probably squatting down - at least on my heavy days)
Cons: It stains. I haven't tried any of those stain removing tricks, but it would have been 5 stars if the cup had been colored.
